Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SD Brokers Online PDF Editor SaaS platform ("Service"), operated by SD Insurance Brokers ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service.
2. Proper Use & License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use and access the SaaS platform solely for your internal business purposes.
- You shall not license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or externally distribute the core PDF processing engines.
- You shall not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the encryption or redaction algorithms.
- You shall not use the API for illicit data scraping or malicious file injection (DDoS via malicious payload).
3. Accounts & API Security
When you create an agency or enterprise account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms. You are strictly responsible for safeguarding the password and API keys that you use to access the Service.
4. Availability, Errors, and SLA
We are constantly updating our SaaS offerings. We may experience delays in updating information on the Service. For Enterprise Tier clients, a specific multi-9s Service Level Agreement (SLA) regarding zero-downtime redaction pathways is provided in your distinct enterprise contract.
We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding the underlying PDFs uploaded by users), features, algorithms, and UI functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SD Insurance Brokers and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SD Insurance Brokers, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to our secure processing pipeline assuming we met our stated AES-256 criteria.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
8. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Contact saas-support@sdinsurancebrokers.com for historical versions.
